Andy and I have over 45 years of experience each in Australian stamps and specialise in the pre-decimal issues. We endeavour to accurately describe all stamps offered by us in respect to their condition in detail, doing so competently and honestly.
We are competent at determining whether stamps have “full original gum” and are “Mint unhinged”. We utilise optimal “white light” technology for determining whether the gum has been re-distributed, whether a stamp has been scraped or brushed or is indeed a re-gum.
Many sellers try to pass off sub-standard stamps as mint unhinged, either inadvertently or intentionally. It is therefore imperative to deal with someone reputable and experienced, who guarantees what they are selling. We are members of the Australian Philatelic Traders Association and the Philatelic
Traders Society (London) and abide by their “codes of conduct”, this is of paramount importance.
We strive to accurately describe all our stamps. We will not sell re-perforated, tampered re-gummed and forged “perforated OS” stamps without describing them accordingly.
